This W.A. Adams-design trout reel combines the elegant appearance inspired by the 1890’s Vom Hoff reel design with the advantage of modern improvements. Each reel is hand built in our workshop using W.A. Adams' original specifications. It's a perfect companion to our fine bamboo rods, as well as a deserving graphite rod. The single-action mechanics feature a click-and-pawl drag system with rim control to protect the inner mechanism and more effectively handle the runs of large fish. The sound of the back-sliding double click will be music to your ears. Spool can be removed easily with the slide of a latch.
